Private Health Care???

I don't know if I'm posting in the right place but my question is this.
My husband has private health care through his company it is with PPP (Axa) healthcare and they take £48 per month directly out of his wage this covers my husband, me and our son.. My question is would it be cheaper to come out of the company one and get our own health care policy?

Unlikely for three of you. I have just joined my OH's company scheme because they will cover existing conditions and it is costing us far more than you are paying although of course I don't know what cover you get compared to ours.
Also, if you decide to go privately you won't be covered for existing conditions for a few years and then subject to some rigorous rules which effectively mean you won't be covered for them so if any of you have had treatment or are having treatment for something you are likely to be worse off by changing.0
