Phil and teds buggy

Hi

We are expecting our 2nd child and have decided that we would like a Phil and Teds Inline sport three wheeler buggy. Only thing is, we need a new(ish) car to a) fit in the kids and b) fit in the buggy. We are considering going for a Nissan Note. My question is, has anyone got a a phil and teds buggy and does it fit into a Nissan Note (if of course, you have one).

Thanks in advance

    Hiya,

I don't own either of the above however I've seen loads of them buggies kicking around (I even thought of getting one but I've settled on something else!) so I'm assuming, giving their popularity, that they fit into most boots! Why don't you try to find the measurements for both?

No idea about the car but have you considered keeping your existing buggy and investing in a decent sling? Loads of benefits in carring your new baby!

No idea what size a nissan note is.
However, I have P&T and a big car.
It doesn't fit, as I can't fold it or lift it :D
At a push, it goes in whole, on it's side.
I see many other mums doing that too.
It is, however, fantastic to push, even with 2 heavy kids in it. But buy from a proper shop, not online, as the fabric tears at the seams easily. I've had a few replacement covers already.

I have the car (which I love) but not the buggy.

If it is any use to know, I do have a Graco Quattro Tour Deluxe and a Maclaren Quest. The Graco is very bulky and the Maclaren is very long (when folded) - perhaps that can help you calculate if your intended buggy will fit?

A toddler board is cheaper than the double buggy system and just clips on the back of an existing push chair. I am thinking of doing this if I have another baby as my son is 21 months and I have already bought the Quinny and a lightweight pushchair. My son goes stiff as a board if I try and put him in either.....reins and a board would be a lot cheaper :-)

Alternatively, a Renault Megane Scenic is a fab car as the seats are higher so you don't strain your back when lifting the child in. Plenty of hidden storage space too.

    Hi
I have had the P& T but no Nissan Note as we have the Honda FRV. We would try not to fold the pushchair down as it was a faff and a nightmare as you'd have to take the second seat off. The wheels are removable though which can help but its not a quick 2 minute job to put it up and down with both seats being used.
I would second buying the pushchair new from a high street as it the seat covers etc do wear easily etc and chek out the assesories as I found the cosy toes very small in size (too small for my 15mth old) and some other bits were not as great as I was hoping.
Saying that though I wouldn't off been without it while my 2 youngest were small but I did go back to my old maclaren and buggy board after using the P&T for 9mths as the P&T was just too heavy to push for me :o
