my partner and i have an annual income of £23,000 and receive child tax credits of £88 a week, if i got a job for 16 or more hours a week would we benefit financially? we have 3 children all of school age.

You would benefit more because of your wages as you are not entitled to many benefits apart from ctc and cb on your dh income.
