Thanks so much - I picked up three from the Aylesbury store yesterday. There were 7 scents available on 1/2 price which were:

• Clean Cotton
• Vanilla Lime
• Fresh Cut Roses
• Wedding Day
• French Vanilla
• Garden Sweet Pea
• Water Garden

The price reduction is so good that they were only pence more than the really small ones!!!

some of the really small samples and the one up from that are reduced to 51p or 78p. i also got some of these. i am finding that all i can smell is a candle smell but im hoping that'll change. my husband can smell the difference so just me ! he likes them so much he bought me every one on special in a big size. im loving the vanilla and lime, i hope it smells as good when lit. you girls have got me addicted, even if i cant smell them lit

Hiya, love yankee candles. I usually buy the tarts for cheapness, but other day decided to treat myself to sparkling lemon in the small jar

No smell after couple hours and blew it out. Thought maybe the wick was too long so when i had a look it had sort od split into 4 bits like a *brolly* effect

Cut it shorter but still no joy, has anyone had this happen to them before?

Just to add onto this, Aylesbury still had loads today. I managed to pick up four but important to note that the Wedding Day one isn't on the special displays, but in the normal Yankee Candle section around the corner with a reduced SEL... and there were only 4/5 left when I was there. Also, car air fresheners in a variety of the flavours were heavily reduced (half price I think from memory). HTH someone

I've got the Vanilla, the wick does go like that at the top after its been going a few hours and it does fragrance the room but I have found with any brand of scented candle vanilla or cinnamon are the only ones I can ever smell. Maybe the Sparkling lemon is a weak fragrance.
