Never used either myself
But Info available :-

Each mortgageforce™ franchise is independently owned and is directly authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority.
so service standards / fees may differ from one member to another, so other peoples views may depend on who they actually dealt with - although no reason to believe they won't offer a good service .
Believe they have financial backing from West Brom BS, * that should not stop them using other lenders though)

Box Simpson - looks like a more local firm - have you been recommended ( good start)
site gives clear statement of services & fees regarding mortgages
They appear to be part of Friends Provident appointed reps, so will likely have some restrictions on insurance choicesAny posts on here are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as (financial) advice.0 -
Hi Payless-
Love your signature!!!!
SSI am a fee charging WoM Mortgage broker.I now no longer give information and opinion within the Mortgage boards, because a number of posters who, having approached me professionally, agreed my fee-which has been been made very clear at the outset, taken my advice (normally cancelling a [home visit] meeting at short notice) have then approached one of the fee-free brokers on here to arrange the very same deal I have advised.Whilst I totally concur with the ethos of "money saving"- abusing the goodwill of a professional who provides a quality service is taking it too far! :mad:0 -

Decided - If no advice is being given & that this board not a financial promotion , so no need for the disclaimersAny posts on here are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as (financial) advice.0 -
