Insure with post office - get £50 back

I have received my car insurance renewal today.
Did a search with insuresupermarket.com and got a quote from The post office underwriiten by Norwich Union and the quote came in at £30 less (£270 with Elephant.co) and after 14 days I get £50 back in postal orders! Making a total saving of £80.
Had to ring them to confirm this but yes the truth!
Offer valid to 31/03/2006 hope someone else can take advantage of this.

I posted this a couple of weeks ago, it is a bargain......if you go through topcashback they give you £45 in addition to the £50 postal order direct from the PO!!Debt free = December 2010...as of March 2006 it is now January 2010..... as of December 2008 it is now December 2009 :j hopefully sooner!!:jDEBT FREE:j January 2012, took longer but I got there, all by myself, through sheer hard work and pride!0

The website says "And if you take out our Car insurance before 31st March 2006, we'll give you £50 cash back!*" Therefore, does it matter when your insurance starts?
My insurance runs out on April 10th. Can I take out the insurance to start 10th April (say on 30th March) or would it be best to start it on 31st March and cancel my old insurance?0 -
Be wary of cancelling current insurance as some companies will charge you for the privilage, with regard to the 10th April query...your best bet would be to phone them.Debt free = December 2010...as of March 2006 it is now January 2010..... as of December 2008 it is now December 2009 :j hopefully sooner!!:jDEBT FREE:j January 2012, took longer but I got there, all by myself, through sheer hard work and pride!0
