No WTC & CTC payment for the Holidays ?

Hi, I normally get my WTC & CTC on a Tuesday, and indeed I got it this Tuesday, but I understood the payment for next Tuesday would go in the bank either yesterday (Thursday) or today (Friday) but so far nothing !, or will I just get it on Tuesday as normal ?.
I also do not understand these 'Provisional Payments' as I seem to remember from last year there is a gap in the payments stopping on 5th April before they restart, and I am wondering if this is why I do not have my payment.
I would be grateful for any help.

Hello
The link for Bank holiday payments for Tax Credits for the whole of 2009 are as follows;
http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/taxcredits/payments-entitlement/payments/next-payment-due.htm
Therefore your payment will be as normal on Tuesday. Also, their isn't normally a gap in payments when the new tax year starts. Payments are provisional subject to Annual Decleration being completed.

Me again...
Really wierd, but link above would mean payments due Tuesday shouldn't be affected by Bank Holiday. I also recieve my tax credits payments on Tuesday, just checked online banking and have recieved next weeks payment today...so guess you might get it today after all.

Some peopel get an extra payment over this period, I did, so it's worth checking it out with the TCO themselves.:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0

TCO have issued all payments that are due to be paid on Friday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday to the banks already.
Only the Friday & Monday payments should be early but if you are due to be paid on any of the other days you MIGHT get it early if the bank releases it to you early.0 -
My child benefit is due on tuesday, but noticed it has went in today.0
