Sofa cover with Contents Insurance policy?

Simple question, looking to buy a new sofa but unsure whether I need the damage protection insurance.My policy is with Zurich, with £40k contents covered including up to £2500 for single item limit. The sofa will cost £1000 so well within this limit.
My only concern is whether this will be covered by the policy. I have read the t&c's and can't see anything that excludes it, could anyone reassure me that I'm right because I wouldn't want to get caught out if I had to claim. Link here

Edit: I will call Zurich later tomorrow to check as well, but hoped somebody might have a quick answer/experience of this.
