gather up all your old mates and rellys tell them to bring some scoff with them and

arrange a clothing swap with friends once a season, bring all the clothes that you don't like anymore or don't fit and make an evening of it. Whatever is not claimed at the end of the evening donate to a charity.

noticed this hadn't been replied to cathy...great idea. i prefer girls nights in to nights going out (unless its for a good curry). a bottle of the virgin £20 wine, some 2 for 1 crisps or similar and a borrowed DVD and we're away!

also went to a clothing swap a few months ago and it was fab.

when I moved up here and got invited to one I only went along out of curiosity and a bit looky down the nosey I must admit,

we had a scream, people modelling and posing and squeezing into stuff that didnt fit etc

I came away with a suit for the old fart that had been worn once and 3 shirts for a tenner 2 shirts still in packaging

and I got 6 pairs of leggngs never worn for £3

that was 11 years ago and we still have them once a year and swop holiday gear from last year etc
