Self Employed

Hi

I am hoping someone on here can help me out as I am very confused :)

My company has just changed over to an LLP (from an Ltd company) and I have now become self-employed. At the time I was told that it was a benefit for me to do this.

I assume that the only way I would be better off is dependant on what I can claim back?

I would appreciate any advice you could give me – It hasn’t been fully explained to me and it would be helpful to hear others points of view on this. In this situation what could I claim back for which would help me out financially? I guess I can claim for the petrol I use – but apart from this I do not really have any expenses as I work from the office.

Thanks in advance

Piper
