Hello - Try Chelsea (they accept people with CCJs) and Birmingham Midshires.
I had a default and was accepted by chelsea they just wanted a brief explanation of the reason I had it!

HI there!
If you do have debts that have been defaulted on, many companies will lend you, but the rate of interest is higher, to my mind, a waste of money. Have you paid off your debt then? Got long left?
I got my mortgage with the Abbey, and they minused the 8k or whatever it was then from what they would lend me in total of the mortgage. If Id have waited, they a) would have lent me more and b) i might have got a better property for less.
Good luck Lynz x:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
