Fridge Freezer & Washing Machine!!!

My boyfriend and I are moving in together next month. Really excited but also a bit stressed with looking at prices of fridge freezers and washing machines!!!
Had a look at the major retailers i.e. Argos, Currys and Comet
Also looked in the Loot publication, although Im a bit weary of buying one from them because I don't drive so I would have no way of checking them out other than the seller bringing them to me!!!
Just wondering where else I could look, we are on a very tight budget!!!!
Thanks in advance for all your help:j

You could always try Comet Clearance Auctions, just follow the link on their website.

might be worth having a browse around this site, it's got me some bargains. Though it's sometimes out of date at least you get interesting links. I have a few things on my watch list. ..........................................................some

This is a very good price comparison site for household appliances especially if you already know the model you want https://www.whiteboxdeals.co.uk0

i bought from comet auctions a while ago....not impressed as the description didn't match the washing machine when it arrived (it wasn't new and had a repair note inside from previous owner)
try freecycle. you could put a want ad in ...just state simply that you are a young couple and people like me will respond (sadly dont have one just now) they do get listed quite frequently. also freebies on gumtree good luck0 -
have you thought of trying Oxfam they
sell secondhand electricals very reasonably
priced.Might be worth considering they
get some good stuff donated and everything
is checked over before its put up for sale.:j:j:j0 -
Hi
Why dont you try freecycle, they are both being given away daily on our local freecycle, you could always upgrade to new when you can afford to.

Don't splash out on new stuff, put a wanted ad in the small ads,or a shop window.I used to get loads of stuff this way,but it may take a few weeks.Name your price in the ad.Don't forget to say the item must be in perfect working order.0

You could try e-bay local bargain finder - can be very good for heavy items which can only be collected.0
