Hiya,
While I was waiting to go bankrupt, this is how I handled my creditors (especially with phonecalls).
When they asked to speak to Miss **** *******, I asked who was calling - and then when they (eventually) told me who was calling I'd say "Oh, I'm sorry, she's away on business at the moment, I'm her flat sitter". Then I got someone ask for my mobile (as I'd changed numbers) - so I told them that I didn't have the authority to pass on mobile numbers and that I'd pass a message as soon as she (I) was back home.
I managed to keep that going for a good 4 - 5 weeks, by that time I managed to book my date for bankruptcy.
So the next time they called, I gave them the bankruptcy details.
I know it's a quick way out of talking to them, but until you can give them some full and final information it was the best thign I could do.

This is exactly what i did!! I was told not to let any of my creditors know i was going bankrupt...just to let the OR deal with it once it had gone thru, so i pretended i was my sister!!
