Has anyone tried dermarollers for stretch marks/bad skin etc?

Hello,

Has anyone tried dermarollers for stretch marks?

They are supposed to be the new skin 'wonder product' and there are a lot about them online but mostly about how well they work on acne and scars, not stretch marks.

Just wondered if there is any substance to the hype?

Pure hype if you ask me

"Seen on TV" - on the shopping channels no doubt, along with the cures for baldness and the amazing hair removel products (none of which work)

Bio oil will help with scars - tried and tested

A lot of people are seeing great results with acne using the OCM, and theres loads of threads here about acne and whats methods people have had results with
  • Sadly was told by doc that there's no way to actually remove stretch marks. But some of the scar reducing stuff will cosmetically turn them less red and dramatic looking.

This is true, once you have stretch marks you have them for life - unless you go for surgical intervention

But you can improve their appearance by keeping a steady weight and using something like bio oil. I also find a bit of a tan helps with the look of them, they seem to look worse when Im pasty white
