Aldi "Touche Eclat"

I love YSL Touche Eclat but really begrudge paying 20 quid odd for it! Today when I was in Aldi they were putting out some concealer that looked just like TE - same packaging and the silver pen looked just the same. I got some in the Cashmere shade (they had Cashmere and Sahara which was a bit darker) and OMG it is every bit as nice and as effective as TE! It only cost £3.59 so I went back and got a couple more because I was so impressed with it. Mods - please move if you think it's appropriate but I know alot of OSers go to Aldi and might be interested!

Cool, I tried the collection 2000 one and it was okay but not as good as the clinique one I used to opt for - sigh.

So thanks - will pop down there and keep an eye out for it ;)

I use the lacura mascara - can't remember if that's aldi or lidl and am quite impressed with it.

What matters most is how well you walk through the fire
  • I think it is better than the YSL too - I got some on Thursday and was so impressed that I went back and got three more to keep in, just in case they stop stocking it. DD1 pinched one and she said it was better than YSL (mind you she is only 18 and hasn't got dark circles like me). I also bought some of the anti-ageing hand cream while I was in there - it was 79p and is brilliant. I usually use the No7 protect and perfect but this made my hands feel so soft and they still feel like that almost 24 hours later.

  • the mascara is good too, as is the face powder compact - and the packaging is quite shiny and attractive!
  • If you google the words pen, ink-redible and the sun, you'll hopefuuly get an interesting article featured in the Sun, comparing these products in a blind test. Aldi's offering doesn;t fair as well as touche, but I think I'l still try it out.

I am a big fan of the Collection 2000 version (though I have never tried the "real thing" and TBH probably never will, unless the C2000 one is discontinued). It gives great coverage, doesn't go off easily and is reasonably priced. I can't remember the exact price as I got mine on a special offer - they were either £10 for 3 or possibly B2G1F. About a fiver normally.

I found it through a recommendation on here - it's called Illuminating Touch Light Diffusing Concealer. (C2000 products are available in Superdrug.)
