xbox 360 +trade xbox

hi there.my son has a standard xbox with all the newest games.but he really wants an xbox 360.
is there anywhere i can trade his old xbox in to get money off the xbox 360?
plus would his standard xbox games work on the 360 version?
where is the cheapest place to get the xbox 360 from aswell

Can this not be done at Game or Gamestation?

There is a stall in our local market that does stuff like that so it might be worth having a look at the computer stalls at your local markets etc and see what they can offer or even computer shops

There is a software patch that can be downloaded to the 360 allowing you to play normal xbox games, there are a few games already that have support on the 360 so that you can play them

Check out the list on the following site which tells you which normal games can be played on the 360 and there will be more games to come

The only way you will get a cheaper than normal 360 is if you go through a cashback site i.e. Quidco (thats all I can think of as the 360 is new and wont be dropping in price for a while)

I would keep the Xbox if I were you, even though CERTAIN XBox games can be played on the 360 not all can and even those that can may suffer performance issues/glitches since (technical part) they are emulating the XBox hardware using software rather than a chip on the motherboard.

You're unlikely to get more than £50 for a standalone XBox these days
