more info needed

NOT having a dig at anyone,but,it would be really helpful if when asking for advice on benefits that posters could give as much info. as possible,in order to get the best advice as quickly as possible.E.g. what benefits are you already getting,roughly what the household income is,how many people in the household.I`m sure you get the idea.Its just so frustrating when trying to give advice trying to second guess the full circumstances.

I completely agree with you! I have noticed some new posters making wild presumptions like 'you are entitled to IBJSA' when the op has not posted any relevant info!

Yes, although having worked as an adviser in the past, it is all too common people don't even realise what info they have to provide! I suppose the next standard questions would be:- single or couple ?, children ?, anyone ill/disabled ?, household income ?, savings (even a rough idea) ? homeowner or renting ?........just my thoughts

Thanks,might be an idea if anyone else can think of any thing to add to this.maybe we could even create some kind of list?
