Bank say 'no to mortgage help'

Went to my bank LTSB as hours due to cut backs at work we will now be £400 a month worse off and won't be able to meet some payments. Decided to start with mortgage which is in a fixed rate with a year to go. The bank say we can't buy out to SVR as C&G don't offer the SVR as a product. Can't have a repayment holiday or convert to Interest only to reduce payments as we are too wel off according to their estimate figures!! Unreal, also tried via directgov for debt advice re credit cards and loans and was told that unless we had over £6000 of debt they weren't interested! Meanwhile i am trying to avoid getting into massive debt hence i'm seeking help the minute my hours have been cut and i know i can't meet aprils bills! Does anyone know exactly what i should do other than go out and splurge another £2000 on my credit card just to then qualify for help. want to complain to the bank but no one seems interested their, the branch say complain to C & G and C & G say complain to bank!

You need to post your SOA on here."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

You shouldn't really start with the mortgage - that should be the last thing to cut back on. Go to the Debt Free Wannabee forums and post a Statement of Affairs there and someone will help you to cut back on your other bills, ie ditch Sky, mobiles, holidays, sell a car etc0
