Is there any reason why women.....

....can't use men's moisturiser?

I'm assuming it'll be a little more 'heavy duty' than the stuff designed for females but other than that it'll be much the same?

I've just cleared out a cupboard and found some unused Nivea for Men tubs and in true MSE style........I'm planning on using it. :D

  • I don't see why not, but there again I know nothing about such matters. My wife once bought me some Nivea for Men facial moisturiser. I still don't know what it is supposed to do. When she asked me if I had used it I told her that I had put some on my hands and her reaction was almost violent. I asked her what's the difference? It appears that face cream costs about 5 times as much as hand cream. I didn't dare ask why not get hand cream and put it on your face?

lol I got some free samples of Nivea for men awhile ago (and for the same reason wouldn't throw them away...) and I used them for my neck (which I am obsessive about moisterising). I've kept one in my bag for after washing my hands too but I didnt rate then as hand cream to be honest but they didnt do any damage so its ok in the short term.

  • Men's skin is different to Womens skin as most men shave. If you are going to use it, do a test patch first

The difference between the two will be the smell and cost.

Well my chap uses my moisturiser - I have had to hide it from him, mind you I think I shall be kind and let him use my dermalogica stuff now that I have treated myself to Clarins:D

He is so vain he sticks any old slap on - even stuff he buys in the pound shop:rolleyes:
