Taskbar gone wide

Please can any help. on my laptop - Vista - My taskbar disappeared from bottom & went to R. side of screen. Somehow trying to get it back it went wide. I have managed to get it back on the bottom but it is still wide and the icons are big.
Thanks

  • Hi,

hover cursor over top of taskbar until you get a double headed arrow, and drag down,

then right click on taskbar and tick 'Lock the Taskbar'.

I'm not a Vista user, but if you go something like Control Panel>Display Options you should be able to alter the sizing back to the default or wherever you had it before.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
