Redirect Loop, someone must know how to fix it!

If I have a asked about this previously please accept apologies meanwhile I will describe the problem.

There is a site I liked to use. It is important to me as it has all my investments listed on it. If I do a search for it using Firefox or Internet Explorer I get the following :

Redirect Loop
The redirection limit for this URL is exceeded. Unable to load the requested page. This may be caused by Cookies that are blocked or could be a server configuration issue and not your computer.

I have even entered the problem in Firefox and it appears that many people have experienced it but so far no one has told me the answer. In my experience this is the best place to ask without getting lots of spam afterwards which is what would happen if I signed on to a Usenet group

Forgot to say that the technical people on the site have not come with an answer. They are very helpful considering I don't buy anything from them.

Do you have cookies disabled in either or both browser? I've seen this error message before, because I have cookies disabled by default. In Firefox it's very easy to add an exception for the site you want to view, which should resolve it. It's also possible to do the same in IE.

If you have cookies enabled, it may be worth clearing them and trying again - though that will also delete any (possibly useful) cookies stored by other sites you visit.

Download HIJACK THIS (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')
    http://www.filehippo.com/download_hijackthis/
Click DO A SCAN AND SAVE A LOGFILE (Takes seconds) then post the log so we can see whats running
(do NOT do anything else with Hijack but scan and post the FULL log)

Download ccleaner http://www.ccleaner.com/ install it (during the installation make sure to deselect the yahoo toolbar) Once installed open it if its not already, close all browsers, then press run cleaner. See if you can get on it now. Could try opera as well http://www.opera.com/

I already have it and used it the other night. Therefore Yahoo is already on this computer. I need to see what AlienERIK comes up with but in the meantime
I think it will be ok to get rid of Yahoo - not sure though. I didn't download it, don't use it and don't like it either but it shows at the top of Firefox I think.

    Uninstall the ASK toolbar
Uninstall the YAHOO toolbar (For firefox, youll need to uninstall it from within firefox)

If removing them doesnt work id guess Mcafee is the problem

it is nothing to do with malware spyware or viruses. Alienrik most of your posts are to post a hijack this log, it is not always malware etc

to the OP delete System.Web.Extensions.dll (ver: 1.0.61025.0) from the bin folder.whilst firefox is closed and reopen

What sort of advice is that? None of the above you are suggesting would be the issue and are not harmful.

    Why uninstall the Yahoo toolbar?
    Why the ASK toolbar?
Main one why would Mcafee be the issue? explain?
