We have two mobile with ASDA PAYG sim cards. On one no problems at all but on the other some texts can take hours to get through?

Both mobiles are Nokias but different models.

Does this sound like the mobile itself or the network?

Are you getting the same signal strength on each phone when placed next to each other? If not, it could be a phone hardware problem (dodgy aerial contact or something) but think SIM more likely.
Do as surfsister advises to test.

Swapped sims and it seems to be the actual mobile phone. So I fiddled in the settings, haven't a clue what I am doing but thought if I mess up will just have to buy a newer phone. Since then it seems to be working. Hope the same tomorrow, and the day after, etc ,etc
