I'm going to be putting a lot of stuff on eBay for the next couple of weeks and I would prefer to schedule it to go live at a set time.
I noticed Selling Manager Pro offers this free and you get a month free trial, would you say its ok to sign up and use it, saving 12p per listing and then cancel afterwards?

Hi
Its free for the first 30 days anyway.0 -
What you have to remember with Selling Manager Pro is the fact that you are paying a monthly subscription and I believe that you cannot "turn it off" at will.
When you either have quite periods or you are on holiday and have nothing to sell you are still payng eBay for the using Selling Manager, so what is the point of paying for something you do not use?
Best bet is to use Turbo Lister, which can be a pain sometimes but it helps by having a template which you can set up for your listing and has the added advantage of holding all your selling details. Also with TL, is the fact that you can work away on getting the listing on multiple items ready; go off for tea or whatever and then comeback later and upload to eBay at a time which is convenient to you.
Hope this helps0 -
Nads - using it and cancelling before you get charged seems like a good idea if you plan to have a mammoth selling session.
edit- you prompted me to take another look at Pro, it was the automated emails that swung it for me (payment rec'd, parcel dispatched, automatic feedback etc) I've signed up for the free month and then I'll take a view - you only get one chance to have a free month though!0 -
I just started using Selling Manager PRO too, so if I dont get on with it I can end my subscription within 30 days - and I waont be charged?
Thanks0 -
Rich - yes there is a click to cancel it, just keep a note of the dates because I assume that you would just go past the 30 days without them reminding you that the free period is up0
