Postal Orders

Hey,

V. quick question because im quite a youngster I suppose and have never dealt with Postal Orders.

Basically, someone has emailed to ask if I will accept a Postal Order for an item. How does it work?! Do I simply go to the Post Office and say can I have my money please?

Is there anything I need to watch out for?

All help much appreciated,
Regards,

If it's uncrossed you can cash it at a post office, if it's crossed you have to cash it at a bank.

Not sure about anything to watch for but basically you go to the PO and they give you the cash.

I think they need to be un crossed or something like that, someone will say for certain.

    Carrie.

EDIT: I didn't take 3 minutes to type this did i  wow, weird :D
Accept that some days you're the pigeon and some days you're the statue.
  • By 'crossed' it means that the sender draws 2 lines through writing on the PO, they do that for security. This means that only the person named on it (you) can cash it through a bank account. If it's uncrossed it could be cashed by anyone who finds it if it gets lost.
