I have just removed AVG from my pc because of updating problems, and have installed AVIRA as it seems to be favoured here, Does Avira update automatically ?
Every day when I wake up I thank the Lord I'm WELSH. .

It will also give you a window every day giving you the opportunity to upgrade - for a fee.

In Avira if you want to update more than once a day you can use Administration > Scheduler to set-up multiple update jobs. I use this so that I can get updates at specific times that I know I will be logged-on.0

also if the nag screen pop up window asking you to purchase full version is annoying you then follow instructions from this site.

depending on what operating system you run you may need to do instructions in safe mode as the administrator, i managed to do 1 in full mode running XP but other would only work in safe mode hope this helps.0
