Result - phoning creditors asking to reduce CC rates !!

It actually began with me phoning Virgins account review team as they rang me to review my account.. Was freaking out but nice guy thankfully!

They reduced my limit by £2500, which to be honest is not a bad thing! Then after the call, told me he would be increasing it again.. I told him not too!!

Anyway we were discussing rates and he said it was worth giving customer services a call and asking them about any rate promotions. So I did, unfotunately Virgin said None at the moment as I have just finished a 0% rate.

Then phoned Mint, who gave me 6 months 0% on new transfers!! So plan is, to transfer existing balance off Mint, then re-transfer it back on again, so I don`t get charged on balance.

Very happy chappy!
