As my current security sofware expires at the end of the month, I would like to know what freebies are available on the internet?

I use Avira Free on my Netbook after reading many threads on this forum about free anti virus programs.

Only problem was the 'update pop up' was a bit annoying, but a quick google showed me how to stop it.
