Business Credit Card, S75 not afforded

Friend, again, has had a total boc with advertising supplier who has now gone to the wall. Black Pearl Marketing, anyone familiar. They took £870 deposit then £870 in 3 monthly instalments from his business credit card, then about a year later an unauthorised £870. He is not afforded the benefits covered under S75 Consumer credit act 74, but can he claim from the card company, is he still protected by some form of equal liablity, not least for the unauthorised amount, but any of the previous 4 amounts paid?
A short reply would be good as I intend to write the letter for him.

Presumably he's tried to get Black Pearl Marketing to refund it? Has he put it in writting?

Yes, usual scenario, insolvent in Sept 2008, changed to another name, then to another now known as JXN same address, same phone, same directors but no recourse against new company.
