How long do employers take to inform of disp outcome?

7 days have now passed since disp. hearing & no news - I've been unoficially told they'll be no action taken, but I'm severly stressed waiting. Is there a limit to how long they're supposed to take?

What does it say in your disciplinary procedure? It should give a timeline in how long they have to respond after the hearing. If in doubt, speak to your HR Department and find out what is going on.0 -
Regardless of what your staff handbook advises the period should always be "reasonable", If the matter was complicated in some way, involved a number of different members of staff or, for example, a customer then 7 days may be considered reasonable. Complicated or not I think 7 days is stretching the elastic a little too far. If you belong to a union I would contact your local office and seek their advice. My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0
