Monday 2/3/09 What small dfw things have you done today???

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free;)
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.:D
Today i will:
- check online banking -
- update spreadsheets
- move some money to savings
- make a loaf in breadmaker
- storecupboard lunch and tea
- laundry hokey cokey for OH
- ironing for me
- reduce, reuse,recycle one thing
- swim and jacuzzi to use gym membership
- aim for no spend day
- clean one room so no housework at weekend
- try and do something in garden towards veggie growing
- sparkle a lot
- use lots of smilies to cheer me up:D

Don't know what happened to the weekend it just disappeared

Hugs to anyone in need, hope you are feeling better soon.
Catch up with you all later xxx

SM - sounds like you are having fun (not)! I really hate that state of upheaval when decorating is going on.
Mrs A - hope you are feeling a bit better today?
Morning Fay!:hello:
Well, I think I'm going to hibernate till next year as this year isn't turning out so great. Now my Piglet has a stomach bug. I don't think any of us have been well, in one way or another, since the beginning of the year! I've had just about enough of it.
So, I have ensconced piglet on the sofa, complete with bowl and postman pat. Don't know if I'm going to get much done today now but I'll give it a go!!
* Washing at 30'c - try and get it out on the line as looks sunny.
* Get dressed (trust me, this is a tough one today......:rotfl: )
* Check on-line banking
* Hopefully get to work on time
* Do Paul McKenna CD
* Storecupboard dinner
* PAD - pay something to studio
Thats about it. Must also get meal plan and "to do" list done. Didn't do them yesterday or saturday
Have good Mondays all!

Currently updating one of my spreadsheets - by getting some PPI monies back from Egg, I'm now 9 months closer to being able to close that credit card!!! Woo hoo!!! (Balance is now £700 and I should be able to pay that off by July or so);
Will check Pigsback for points - I'm due some from Ebay;
Will check Valued Opinions as I've got about £4 pending and I'm sat at £9.60 so due another voucher very soon!
Day off today so no need to spend money on buses or anything but will put thirty quid of petrol in the car for the trip to my Mum's tomorrow (and she's paying for the petrol to Anfield on Tuesday!).
Although not an NSD, I'm just choosing to buy the petrol a day early otherwise it would be! Happy days!Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0 -
