Newman's Own Salad Dressing, now awful

I used to really enjoy using the old range of dressings, as they really were a cut above most shop bought ones. I have found them difficult to buy recently, but saw some today and bought a couple. Instead of the great taste I was used to, the new bottles were foul. Weak, watery and with no flavour. I wouldn't mind if it was a value own brand range, but these are premium nearly £2 a bottle dressings. After ruining one salad I just poured the rest down the sink.

If anyone knows of somewhere that has old stock please let me know, otherwise just avoid them.

I know Paul Newman died recently last year, but didn't think he still had such a hands on approach to his company.

It disgusts me that manufacturers are willing to destroy his good name and reputation so soon after his passing.

You poured it down the sink not very MSE :money:

Email the company, or you could of wrote to them.

Maybe it was a faulty batch?

I am sure they would of refunded you.

Maybe they changed the recipe which is possible, you still got the bottle then email the company and explain in a calm tone how the dressing you bought and tried wasnt as good as ones you have previously tasted, the least you can expect is an email saying how they are sorry this happened, the most to expect is a request for your address to send you some vouchers, they might ask for the barcode number or another number on the bottle so thats why i said you still got the bottle,
