Have 10k - Which account is best for me?

I have 10k in an internet saver via Lloyds TSB and is earning the princely sum of 1 pound and 23 pence approx per month in interest.
I'm on minimum wage and would like instant access to the money should i need it..i'm pretty clueless about which route would be the most advantageous.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair. I'm going to take myself off the electoral role like I should of done ages ago and move to the Caribean. I already brought my plane ticket, all be it a refundable 1.
