i pinched the offer from hukd, rep to rufus
just wanted to ask if anyone knws of any pre-requisites to use this offer, ie. a phone line, or certain postcodes.
Hi, I have just been to the Hulme ADSA Store in Manchester and they have the sky pay once packages in their clearance centre for £50. I thought the normal £75 price tag was good but reduced to £50 makes it £12.50 a month with no contract and no installation fee.
Here is the sky description:Once your account's set up, you're free to order optional pay-per-view Sky Box Office movies too. At the end of 4 months, it's your choice. You can keep receiving just the free-to-air channels for no extra cost, in which case you'll need to give us 30 days notice. Or you can keep receiving all these plus the Sky channels for £20 a month
- More than 200 free-to-air digital channels, forever - that's 4 times more than Freeview.
- More than 60 quality Sky TV digital channels for 4 months (worth £80) with no annual contract.
- A digital signal - so you can keep receiving TV after your area's analogue signal is switched off.
- A standard Sky box and minidish for receiving your channels and more - both FREE and fully warranted for 12 months.
- FREE standard installation and set-up, with no aerial upgrade needed
just wanted to ask if anyone knws of any pre-requisites to use this offer, ie. a phone line, or certain postcodes.

i think youd need a phone line for the 4 months its connected on contract but after that if you didnt want to carry on you could cancel and keep it as freeview channels.
Postcode i doubt will be an issue0 -
after looking though previous posts on hukd, sly may charge a one off activation charge £25 if no land line is provided.
even with the extra charge i'll prob get this offer, just to get the dish installed for future use of freesat0 -
is it nationwide? has anyone checked?0

This is at

Thanks RUFUS from HUKD's
They had 25+ in the clearance section at my local store (Highbridge, Somerset) but they were priced at £40 instead of £50. See photo for proof.
It may have been a pricing error at this particular store rather than a national price.

Hi, here is a list of channels...
on Freesat: http://www.freesat.co.uk/index.php?page=whatson.Main
on FreesatfromSky: http://www.freesatfromsky.co.uk/freesat-tv-choice.aspx
There are a handfull of channels on FreesatfromSky which are not available on Freesat.
I hope this helps.0 -

i think what the previous poster was referring to when they mentioned freesat was, that in future they could just buy a freesat pvr and run it from the sky dish, as i believe this works, so would be a cheaper way of getting freesat, HTH DaveTake every day as it comes!!0
