Advice Needed Someone Payed For All My Auctions Now Wants Refund

Please could someone advise me how to handle someone who has brought about 7 of my auctions totalling about £80 and payed through paypal direct to me, then they sent me a message after saying they made a mistake, and please could they have a refund. Im getting charged my listing fee's for all these items and final value fee's and on top of that paypal fee's for receiving the payment so I will in fact lose money if I refund, it was hassle enough getting the items listed in the first place and has messed up my entire auctions which already had bids from other bidders, making me lose money.
Please could someone advise how to best deal with this situation, I do state on my auctions that NPB will have negative feedback left, but this one has paid - but wants their money back...Do I have to refund the buyer? is it within their rights to a refund for buying somthing by mistake?

Thanks for your reply, yes the goods were definately as described, I feel really annoyed at this person and they have made me lose sales due to them bidding, should I just refund and put it down to them being an idiot? Or should I carry on with the transaction and send out the product????if i had known then what i know now0 -
tricky.
you could go for the line, sorry items already dispatched.... then post them in the morning.0 -

I agree tell him you have already sent out the items and get them sent pretty sharpish!! Is he on some sort of a con bidding on and winning 7 auctions from the same person then wanting a refund? Sounds very odd to me! Tell him if he still wants a refund he will have to post the items back to you and pay the postage costs to return them which you wont refund but you would refund the costs of the goods (not including any postage)Weight Loss - 102lb0 -
are you even obliged to take them back?
sod it, if i got them in the post, unless any of the items are faulty, i don't want to know.0 -
Don't send the items you're simply asking for trouble the guy is obviously suffering from Buyers Remorse. He'll do a PayPal chargeback for sure and you're in for no end of trouble.
Go with Mutual Not Complete Sale - you'll get your FVF fee back and will be able to re-list for free or offer to Next Highest Bidder. You'll lose any gallery fees if you relist.
Once he's done the mutual not complete sale satisfactorily then and only then - refund him his PayPal payment. Don't leave him feedback until he's given it first.Blessed are the geeks, for they shall inherit the Internet.0 -

on what grounds would he do a charge back? if you send them recorded delivery (which you should anyway with paypal paid items) what other grounds would he have?0 -
I have decided to take the payment, becasue I don't beleive that you bid on 7 auctions and not realise what your buying, if I gave a refund I would lose money becasue this person bid over other buyers to buy my goods, and even if I relist or offer a 2nd chance offer they may decide they don't want them now. They are foreign I can tell by their name and when they write me a message asking for a refund their english is very poor. I'm going to send the goods out recorded delivery today, the goods are as described, so as others have said, I can't see any reason that paypal do a chargeback against me. Have I done the right thing do you think?if i had known then what i know now0
