isp denying mac codes

has anybody had problems obtaining mac codes from isp when moving providers

You should post this in the 'techie stuff' forum.
However all ISPs are now legally obliged to hand over mac codes within a set time frame I believe, some OFCOM reg that came out last year. I'm sure someone on the 'techie stuff' forum could confirm

When I left Pipex they said they would send me the code but I never received anything from them, after a week I called them up, ready to go in all guns blazing and the bloke just gave me it over the phone.
If I had waited for them to do anything I think I would still be waiting0 -
