Can you pay a credit card with a credit card?

Hi All,

My credit card has run out of its 0% and is now at 19.9%!!!!!!!! My Mum has got a 0% card that is empty and has 9 months until the deal runs out. I will have it clear in 8 months with my regular monthly payments. I got turned down for a 0% deal and I dont want to try again for at least 6 months.

Can I balance transfer from my card to my Mums, do credit card companys let you do this?

Thanks in advance

I’m back and more determined than ever!!!!!

  • Yes, you can do that. :)

Be careful, if you make a Credit card payment instead of Debit card payment, it will show you are paying a financial institution and the credit card you pay with may charge a cash/higher interest rate and not on the 0%

If you mean't Balance transfer and yuou have a preferential rate for Balance transfers that's ok.
  • I think this process might be harmful. you have to make your payment to company with cash and should consult with cashier regarding this type of payment.Hope it will be better option for you.
