Can I port PAYG to Vodafone (old)contract

Does anyone know whether I could port an orange PAYG number to an existing pay monthly contract I have had with Vodafone for well over a year?

Yes you can, just get a PAC code from Orange and give it to Vodafone.Mortgage free as of 10/02/2015. Every brick and blade of grass belongs to meeeee. :j0

I thought Voda only let you port in at the start of a contract ?0

I assumeed the OP wants the 2 numbers on the 1 account. Don't know whether they will let him cancel the existing VF number and keep the ported in number.

Correct, Voda will only let you port in a number when you take out a contract.I thought Voda only let you port in at the start of a contract ?
If you have had it for well over a year why not cancel it and take out a new one? Unless you have a great deal you really need to keep then you could get cashback through quidco as well?Any opinions are my own and are offered as advice only and not fact.0
