Rent a bed and shower in Oxford

hi there

i am attending a course in oxford next week and need to stay somewhere with a bed and a shower for 4 nights

i dont want to book a hotel room, as i am broke
but just need to rent a room (dont get the wrong idea!!!)
had a look at lastminute, and holiday inn, but they are atleast 70 quid a night

does anyone know of any websites for these kinda things?

One option is to call Tourist Information - their telephone number is on the link below - they usually offer a full range of accomodation depending on price.

You might get more expertise over on the Travel board. In the mean time, have you looked at Travelodge.co.uk? They regularly have rooms for £26 per night, and occasionally have rooms for £10 per night! :beer:

Otherwise I would look in local Oxford papers for people renting rooms - I would guess you could do this online???

PS I've just noticed your course is NEXT WEEK!! :eek: In that case forget Travelodge until next time, and then book in advance....... :rolleyes:
