I wanna job from home

I have 2 children and have just found out i am expecting again!

With 3 children under 4 i think working from home would be the best option. Has anyone any ideas for jobs ie like Phoenix ( however a friend of mine does that one so not really an option!)
Is there anything else a bit different that pays okay?

Appreciate any advice!

this won't make you loads of money, but it might help!

With Easter and Summer hols coming up there are loads of activity sports camps for kids. Some of these companies recruit group bookers to coordinate group bookings and promote the camps in their area.

Many of these companies have camps around the country, but have one office. They may be based in London, but sometimes struggle to drum up business in Newcastle (for example). For each booking you get them they pay you a commission.

You need to approach these companies directly. It helps if you have some mates who need childcare also, and you basically say you want to do a large booking and am interested in helping promote the camp.

I used to work in this industry and they rely heavily on local people ot promote and sell thier camps.

    Hope this helps!

  • I do a work from home job like Phoenix, but selling children's books. It's fab, because the kids come with me and play whilst I sell - also I have a network of groups and things that I already know to approach to sell to.

There are lots of other companies too that give work from home businesses which are reputable. The direct selling association is a good place to start if you want to check whether things are legit. They have a list of companies that they have given the dsa seal of approval to. Their website is at https://www.dsa.org

I can tell you all about my job, but I think that would be classed as advertising, and I like being on this site. PM me if you want me to tell you about it?

Any party plan like Phoenix is great for choosing when/where you want to work. I work for the Body Shop at Home as a consultant, but Virgin Vie, (dare I say Ann Summers?!!), are all more or less the same. If you want further info about the BS@H, PM me and I will answer any questions you have. Good luck with whatever you decide....its hard with a young family but my job tides me over (and gets me out for a couple of hours in the week!!).xx

    hi bbford,

a lot of the companies don't openly advertise the group booking thing. Group bookers get a discount of say 10% on places, so their people pay say £90, whilst Joe Bloggs who books on his own pays £110.

    Try:
https://www.kingscamps.org - run camps round country
https://www.kidsklub.co.uk - have a bit on website about 'agents'.
https://www.campbeaumont.com - they have an agents sign in but no info on the agent programme.

at the end of the day, if your friends are interested in booking, they any company will take notice of you. Book loads of places, then say 'i think I could get some more bookings, any commission' - cheeky but they will love you for it!
