Dyson DC07 Motor

This machine will not operate. I have checked continuity of cable and switch and it's fine. I think the fault is in the cut out or the motor. Does anyone have any ideas as to what may be the problem or is able to tell me the resistance of the motor. When I measure across the motor side of the switch contacts I get 0 ohms. I am not sure if the cut out may show this fault also.
Any help appreciated. Otherwise it's hand in pocket time :eek::eek:
