Hi All,
I want to join a book club where I can buy any book I want and not be tide up to the editor's choices. Does any one know of a good one, I want to buy books for my 13yr old daughter.
thank you

Personally I wouldn't bother. Check out second hand books on the likes of Amazon, greenmetropolis, Playtrade etc. Buy what you need - not what they want you to buy, when your daughter has finished sell the books on again.
Or check out freecycle and see if anyone has any books they can pass on suitable for your daughter.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I used to be a member of a book club and TBH they are pants! I have recently looked into joining one again for the join up bargains but they fleece you later on as they charge you pretty much full price for the books you buy.
You can get much better deals online these days. The following are 3 online companies I would recommend. I have bought from them all with no problems...You can usually get free delivery codes from here (MSE)

Another useful site for finding best prices for books is here:-
http://www.bookbrain.co.uk/
Enter your book title (if you're unsure find it first on Amazon). It'll then list the cheapest price of the site it's aware of, including postage charges.
I can highly recommend the Book People, mentioned by Shelly, they often have books at crazy price. They produce a regular newsletter that often includes a section for kids/teen fiction etc.0 -
why don't you try using a library - free to join, free to borrow books and you would be able to return them after reading - would not cost anything!0

whats that website where you register and people leave books in random places for you to find, and once you have read it you do the same thing and leave it for someone else to find and read etc etc? anyone know, that could help but then you don't really have much choice in what book it is do you!0

You can request books from people's bookshelves if they are available and they will usually send for the price of the postage.0
