Whats the best time of the month to find cheap flights?

I'm trying to find a cheap flight to India and it's quite flexible in times but jsut wondering do you get cheaper flights at the start, middle or end of the month?

That will get you a starting point for negociation. spend 2 quid on the Times and Mail on Sunday . Their travel suplements have loads of companies offering "cheap Air fares"

There is no particular time of the month that is cheaper, nor time of the week particularly as there is no weekend surcharge for India. The only rule is fares will jump up during school holidays and during festival times. Winter is generally a popular time for travel to India as it starts getting very hot after March and flights are very busy returning to the uk at this time. All scheduled (not charters run by holiday companies) airlines increase prices depending on numbers of seats sold, the more seats sold generally the higher the will prices increase.
