New PC - Any good?

Hi,

I've seen the PC below for sale and would like some opinions on whether or not it's worth the £299 it's on sale for.

Basically, the specs are:

Athlon x2 4600
3gb RAM
320GB Hard Drive
ATI Radeon 3450 Graphics Card
DVDRW Optical drive
Windows Vista Home Premium

Can anybody help me?

Thanks

Not a bad spec for everyday computing (web, email, MS Office programs) at that price. Sorry to state the obvious, but presumably you already have a k/b, mouse and monitor, as this is a base unit only?
Also you need to establish what warranty is included, as I can't see anything stated on the site about that.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

Yea its a good build. If you want to do gaming you would have to add on a card. The rest of the specs are fine for gaming. enough processing, enough ram just the Graphics card is missing.

Cheers Macman, I didn't consider the warranty so I'll check that out.

I think they will throw in a keyboard and mice, HP usually do.

But if its important to you I would give them a call and find out, but

HP do have a very good Customer Service and easy replacements, In my old work place we dealt with HP and was very easy to deal with them.
