unable to pay car finance due to redundancy
I purchased a car through welcome car finance, I have found out today that I am to be made redundant on 23/02/2009. I bought car in august 08 I dont have income protection to cover repayments I have thought about ringing welcome up to see if they do payment holidays to give me a bit of time to see if I can find another job. Is there anyone out there who can give me a bit of advice.

Did you purchase the car from a ~Welcome dealership or did you buy the car of an independant dealership who arraned the finance through welcome for you?I am a former Broker, former IFA and former compliance officer, for my sins.

There is little that can be done to challenge the loan and its agreement and I would therefore contact the lender and discuss the issue and see if they are prepared to assist.I am a former Broker, former IFA and former compliance officer, for my sins.
