What is 3D on my Adamscard and how do I cancel it?

Hi everyone.
I have an Adams Mastercard and despite not using my card and having been paying above what it says is the minimum amount due on my monthly statements my balance has been going up, I phoned the customer service number on my statement (which had me confused at first as the recorded message on it says its for JJB Card) to query the increasing balance and was told its cos of 3D on my card, i had spotted this 3D coming up on my statement but wasn't aware of what it was so asked and was told its card insurance, I then asked to cancel it and was given a number to call. I called the number where I was kept on hold for 11 minutes only to be told I'd been given the wrong number. Does anyone have any idea exactly what 3D is and how I go about cancelling it and can I claim back what I've been paying for it?
