Hi,
Can anybody tell me what I need to do next. I want to play a film from my laptop onto my TV. Both are very new so have all the latest connections available. Ive bought some SVGA cable and red and black phono plugs. Ive plugged them all in. The SVGA plug on the TV seems to be for channel EXT7 so Ive switched to that but thats as far as Ive got.
When I start the film the laptop brings the windows media box up. Which 1 do I click on? I cant get anything to go through the TV. Im sure its quote easy but Im not very good at this sort of thing.
Thanks for any help anybody can give.

Try holding down the "Fn" key and pressing the F5 key. That usually toggles to an external monitor (in MS Windows anyway).0
