can somebody guide me where I can by the following items cheaply (for servicing my car):

Engine Oil
Power Steering Fluid
Coolant
Break Fluid

Tesco are selling off various engine oils just now - think they were all about 1/2 price

Try your local motor factor.
They should stock all of the parts you are after and a lot cheaper than Halfords!

Hi i used to work in the trade and yes Halfords are on the dear side ,
Not sure if you have a Morrisons supermarket near by ??????? their prices in the petrol shop are pretty cheap .

You don't say where you are.
Partco are a fairly national motor factors. Your yellow pages will give you a choice of others.
The back street motor factor is superb because, not only is their stuff cheaper than Halfrauds, the people behind the counter actually know what they are talking about.
I use one called Ray's Auto Supplies in a backstreet of Accrington and whenever I go there are local professional mechanics picking up stuff.
