Pls can someone show me how to to remove this dreadful program from my laptop.
I have tried all add/remove but it always rear its ugly head back onto my desktop.

Try revo uninstaller http://www.revouninstaller.com/ what antivirus are you going to use after? Avira is good ^.^0

I already have AVIRA.I have never use Mcafee before.It came with the laptop and I have been trying to get rid of it for the past 2yrs.You can't keep a good man down...0

You'll probably find folders in the Program Files folder and in Local Setting folder on xp (can't mind what its now called under vista) which you can delete.
Run revouninstaller for possible registry entries and files left behind its not perfect but its better than most. Run CCleaner as it cant hurt.
Next time you get a new PC the first thing to do is run PCDecrapifer.0 -
The removal tool should get rid of it completely (If its not already)
