Hi there,

Does anyone know of a good company that stocks good priced MTB shoes i.e. ones that clip into the pedals etc I've doen the usual search on google but so far the shoes appear quite expensive.

Try Decathlon sports stores. They have a web presence but I'm not sure of the address. You may have to pop into one of the stores for the complete range though.

Also have a look in the back of MTB magazines too,as they have loads of mail order adverts

Take a look at www.wiggle.co.uk and possibly www.ribblecycles.co.uk (although ribble are more road bikes)

If you know what you're looking for (IE a make and model) you can try www.bikepimp.com This runs a compare service on a number of major online bike shops.

On the shoe side of things I'd STRONGLY recommend you try some on first before buying. They need to fit quite well as and looseness isn't good when you're glued to the bike...
