Still No Interview!!!

Another OR letter today informing me to contact OR when NT has been applied, still no mention of an interview???

Trouble is I'm in a new job and have not received a wage slip with a correct month's pay so how do I know what my usual tax would be??? Would the Inland Revenue be able to tell me??

Why couldn't I just have an interview like most on here???

    Hi Patsy

you are not alone in this respect! I have not had an interview and not even received a "welcome" pack in the post from the OR so I am wondering what is going on as well.

is it a new job since the date of teh BR? if after, then the NT Tax code does not apply, only applies to job as at date of BR.

Did you get a letter at the time of your BR containing various documents to sign and send back? There's usually a paragraph in there if they've decided no interview is needed.
  • No I started job on 5th Jan, declared BR on 12th Jan.

Not signed or been ask to sign or send anything to OR, no questionnaire etc either!!

They should have sent out a pack with your covering letter regarding interview, a 4 page document of your duties and responsiblities to sign and a load of leaflets.

They must really be busy not to have done this in a month.
